BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION:
BEDFORD TOWNSHIP
Road: Custer Drive over the Kalamazoo River, between River Road and M-89
Project: Bridge reconstruction and realignment
Total Cost Estimate: $1,355,000
Disruption: Intermittent traffic regulation for gravel trucking
Completion: Final project completion is Spring 2009

PAVING:
BEDFORD/PENNFIELD
Road: North Avenue, between Coolidge and S Drive North (Halbert Road)
Project: Resurfacing and shoulder paving
Total Cost Estimate: $608,977
Disruption: Lane closure with traffic regulators on site.
Completion: December 2007

EMMETT TOWNSHIP
Road: 11 Mile Road between B and F Drive North
Project: Paving/Shoulder Work
Total Cost Estimate: $131,829
Disruption: Lane closure with traffic regulators on site.
Completion: To be determined

Road: Kimball Pines Park Road, off of Michigan Avenue
Project: CMA (the construction firm for the Marian Burch facility on Michigan Avenue) will be
paving (weather permitting) the Kimball Pines Park Road on Tuesday, October 23rd.

Road: Trappers Ridge, off of Beadle Lake Road
Project: Concrete curb and gutter at the intersection, resurfacing, topsoil and restoration.
Disruption: Road closed during paving on Wednesday, October 24th, weather permitting.
Completion: Wednesday, October 31st

Please note that chip and seal operations are dependent upon dry weather. Rain showers or even the threat of rain showers will delay seal coating. During the chip and seal process, roads will be closed for a short period of time. . Do not park vehicles on the road. Any vehicle that is parked on the road during this time will be towed at the owner’s expense.
