Geobook

In 2002, Calhoun County Road Commission Parks and Recreation Department completed a County Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the next 5 years.  This plan has been developed into a digital book for public use.  The digital book is available in the form of a compact disc that can be purchased and loaded on to a computer running a minimum of MS Windows 2000.  The digital book contains information about the parks plan, county demographics, and interactive maps of the county that can be viewed and queried.  The maps include, but are not limited to, aerial photography, soils and wetland information, roads, zoning, land use, and recreational data.  The digital book requires no prior training and is very user friendly.

The Parks Master Plan is available by request on CD ROM for a cost of $40.00.
