Board of Public Works of Calhoun County Meeting Minutes
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works of the County of Calhoun was held Wednesday, September 15, 2004 in their office building located at 13300 Fifteen Mile Road, Marshall Michigan.

Chairperson Veramay called the meeting to order at 9:41 a.m. There being no additions or corrections to the regular meeting minutes of July 21, 2004 they stand approved as printed and distributed.
COMMUNICATIONS
- Letters regarding Duck Lake Sewage Treatment Facility.
OTHER BUSINESS
William Kichmeier, Jr., Clarence Township Resident, said when he was at the June 16, 2004 meeting there was a discussion regarding the discharge limits allowed by MDEQ; has there been any new information. Mr. Veramay restated the alternatives allowed by MDEQ.
Mr. Randolph stated he wanted or correct a statement from the July 21, 2004 letter received from Mr. Kirchmeier and Mr. Taylor saying he was forced to sign a consent letter from MDEQ. He was not forced; it was a requirement from MDEQ in order to proceed.
Commissioner Veramay said that there is a chain of command regarding this project. Calhoun County Board of Public Works takes our direction from the Clarence Township Board and the Duck Lake Association. Calhoun County Board of Public Works has no direct jurisdiction; nor can we incur any costs on their behalf.
Chairperson Veramay announced that the next regular meeting of the Board of Public Works is scheduled for Wednesday, October 20, 2004 immediately following the Road Commission Meeting at 9:00 a.m. There being no additional business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
