The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works of the County of Calhoun was held Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in their office located at 13300 Fifteen Mile Road, Marshall, Michigan.

Chairman Veramay called the meeting to order at 10:04 a.m. There being no additions or corrections to the regular meeting minutes of April 19, 2006 they stand approved as printed and distributed.
Chairman Veramay announced that Commissioner Monaweck is excused from toady's meeting.
COMMUNICATIONS AND RESOLUTIONS
- Received a memo from Kevin Henning requesting the acceptance of the 2005 Audit Management Representation Letter from Rehmann Robson
NEW BUSINESS
Moved by Commissioner Travis and supported by Commissioner Veramay to approve the acceptance of the 2005 Audit Management Representation Letter from Rehmann Robson. Voice vote: Motion carried.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Mr. Randolph provided the Board with the following information:
Duck Lake Update:
Met with some of the Clarence Township Board members about the Duck Lake project to keep them updated. We are having an application with the Rural Development Authority being done now and should be getting that money soon. We are shooting for bids in July but that will depend on the application. Mr. Randolph said the Duck Lake project is in good shape.
COMMISSIONER'S COMMENTS
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21, 2006 immediately following the 9:00 a.m. Board of Road Commissioners meeting. There being no additional business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:10 a.m. |
