The regular meeting of the Board of Park Trustees of the County of Calhoun was held Wednesday, April 6, 2005 in their office located at 13300 Fifteen Mile Road, Marshall, Michigan.

William Rees, Custer Greens Golf Course Manager
Chairperson Monaweck called the meeting to order at 9:38 am. He stated that there being no additions or corrections to the regular meeting minutes of March 2, 2005 they stand approved as printed and distributed.
OTHER BUSINESS
Mr. Rees reported:
· Last year the agreement with the V.A. was renegotiated; the outpatients are unhappy they are being charged this year, but it is in keeping with the V.A. agreement
· They have 5 leagues scheduled and several others pending
· They participate in the 1st Tee program for children; have an agreement with the Devil Rays Baseball Team; and other special programs
· There are several golf outing set up so far
· There have been many improvements over the winter; they are in very good shape
· The new directional signs on Dickman Road should be up later this month
Tom Frank, Albion Township Supervisor, said that he is not a golfer; but it is very nice out there. The golf course has hosted several luncheons over the years.
Chairperson Monaweck announced that the next regular meeting of the Board of Park Trustees is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2005 immediately following the 9:00 a.m. Calhoun County Board of Road Commission meeting. There being no additional business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:54 a.m.
