The regular meeting of the Board of Park Trustees of the County of Calhoun was held
Wednesday, November 16, 2005 in their office located at 13300 Fifteen Mile Road, Marshall, Michigan.

Annette Chapman, Calhoun County Parks & Recreation Director

Chairperson Monaweck called the meeting to order at 10:31 am. He stated that there being no additions or corrections to the regular meeting minutes of October 5, 2005 they stand approved as printed and distributed.
COMMUNICATIONS AND RESOLUTIONS:
- Moved by Commissioner Travis and supported by Commissioner Veramay to approve the Calhoun County Board of Park Trustees Proposed 2006 Budget. Voice vote: Motion carried
NEW BUSINESS:
PARKS & RECREATION DIRECTOR REPORT:
Mrs. Chapman stated that the Golf Course was officially closed October 31, 2005.
Wattles Road Bike Lane is about 98% complete. Mrs. Chapman is working with Mrs. Kline on getting reimbursement from the State
Mrs. Chapman reminded everyone that the holiday lights will be on at the Bridge Park and will remain on until after New Years.
Mrs. Chapman stated that there would be an Eagle Scout project going on at the Bridge Park. Josh Cook, an Eagle Scout, will build a new deck on the west end of the Bower Road Bridge.
Mrs. Chapman has been invited on the 14 th of December to go down to the Tekonsha Chamber of Commerce to talk about a recreation plan for their community.
Mrs. Chapman is working on revising the fee schedule for the Parks as well as the Golf Course.
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS
Commissioner Veramay asked about the parking at the Bridge Park. Mr. Randolph said he was working on expanding the parking area.
Chairperson Monaweck announced that the next regular meeting of the Board of Park Trustees is scheduled for Wednesday, December 7, 2005 immediately following the 9:00 a.m. Calhoun County Road Commission meeting. There being no additional business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:46 a.m.
